Agility and awareness are the keys to NOT fall into autumn!

As the cooler weather pushes in, the seasonal changes can lead to reduced activity levels, increasing the risk of falls or injuries. Don't let this be you!

 

To enhance agility and awareness, consider incorporating exercises like balance training, dynamic stretching, and core stability work. Activities like agility drills, yoga or tai chi can help maintain coordination and reduce the risk of trips or falls during autumn hikes or walks on uneven terrain.

Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats

Ingredients

 

1 cup rolled oats (Bob's Red Mill)

1 cup almond or coconut milk (unsweetened)

1 apple, peeled and chopped

1/2 cup coconut yogurt (Cocojune)

1/4 cup chopped walnuts

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (Sun Warrior)

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Directions

 

Place all ingredients in a large 24 oz. mason jar and mix well. Refrigerate overnight to set. Serve with additional fruit or toppings if desired.
